Margo has started work on Radio's " Winterset " and made su<\h a good impression that the studio have given her a long-term contract. It stipulates that she may spend six months of each year in Now York. Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer are thinking of remaking "Blossom Time," tho film in which Richard Tauber made his British debut. This is the first time that Hollywood has contemplated remaking a British talkie. Walter Wanger has bought Vincent Sheean's " Personal History," a recent best-selling biography, and will star Madeleine Carroll in it. Lewis Milestone will direct and Frederic March will probably play opposite Madeleine. John Howard, the young actor whom Paramount discovered in an Ohio university eighteen months ago, lias been given a new contract. Ho has just finished playing in " Lost Horizon " and will next appear in " Internes Can't Take Money." Robert Young, who was recently displaced by Franchot Tone in the cast of " Love on the Run," has been given the leading role in Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer's "Maiden Voyage." It is the story of a flirtatious young American's adventures in the Tyrol.
