(Ford is the largest manufacturer of motor vehicles in the British Empire.) The thirty-three years of inventive genius and revolutionary manufacturing methods that have contributed to the production of over 24,000,000 Ford vehicles are culminated in the New Zealand Ford Factory. This 3-acre plant sets for New Zealand entirely new manufacturing standards and represents a material contribution to New Zealand's industrial development. It is providing healthy, congenial and lucrative employment for some hundreds of New Zealanders, harmonising with the desire of the Government and the people of New Zealand to develop econo- | mically sound industries. But behind the song of machinery and the hive of workers lies the central Ford purpose of building still greater quality and value into Ford Cars and Trucks. The determination constantly to produce a better product is the guiding principle behind all Ford enterprise, and the New Zealand factory is a fresh step in discharging that self-assumed responsibility. In buying traditional Ford Value the New Zealand purchaser has always helped Empire Industry, inasmuch as Ford Cars and Trucks have come from Canada and England.
