MOISTURE FROM REFUSE INSTALLATION ON LINER BERLIN, Nov. 11 In pursuance of the German economy campaign, a special drying plant has been installed in a new HamburgAmerika liner. This plant, is to be extended throughout the fleet if it is successful. 9 The plant will extract moisture from kitchen refuse and preserve it until port is reached. Already bread crusts, tin cans, tooth paste tubes, and other articles are collected on German ships and handed over to the port authorities.
