NEW REVUE COMPANY
GEORGE WALLACE'S RETURN In conjunction with John Fuller and Sons. Limited, Connors and Paul will introduce their new revue company to Auckland at His Majesty's Theatre on Saturday, No'Vember 14. Tho combination is headed by tho popular stage and screen comedian George Wallace, whoso quaint fooling has always found favour with local theatregoers. Fresh from London comes Minnie Love, the musical comedy star, who last appeared here with tho late Gus Bluett, and another favourite with the company is Nellie Kolle, also recently returned from England. Tho ever-popular Mike Connors and Queenio Paul aro also prominent in the production. The act presented by tho Marcella Trio includes graceful adagio dancing, while the turn offered by tho Russell Brothers in their feats of handbalancing, entitled, "Les Silhouettes," is a distinct novelty. Other members of tho cast who perform with distinction are tho mouth-organ soloist Harry Thompson, tho clever comedienne Lulla Fanning, and the Australian tenor Loo Trennette. Laurel Streeter, who was seen in tho J. C. Williamson "Desert Song 1 ' company, the character comedian Will Miller, and the novelty dancers Rex and Bessie, provide further attractive items, while the "Sunkist Beauty Ballet" is responsible for tho presentation of many colourful ensembles. The box plan will open on Friday next.
