OAMARU CLUB
An anniversary party was held in the Fabian Club rooms by the Oamaru Club, which, after two yeafs of existence, has become well established in Auckland. There was a large attendance of members and friends, representatives from the Dunedin, Canterbury and West Coast Associations also being present, The president, Mr. A. M. llosie, welcomed the gathering. An Excellent musical programme was given, those contributing being: Mesdamos 11. E. N. Matthews and E. Asher (instrumental duo), Mesdames Asher and Simpson (duet), Mrs. Hobday (solo), Mr. J. F. Wells (elocution), Mr. Alan McElwain (humour). Dancing was interspersed between the items.
