BLOMFI ELD DEFEATS KRUSE [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] NELSON, Wednesday In a professional wrestling bout at Nelson Blomfield defeated Kruse, the contest coming to an end early in the eighth round, when Kruse crawled out under the ropes and lay prone while the referee counted him out. Kruse in the fourth round had obtained a fall by means of wristlocks and a body press. SAVOLDI DEFEATS DAVIS [BY TEIjEURAPU —Pit ESS ASSOCIATION] WANGANIJI, Wednesday In ft wrestling match characterised by a (rood deal ol action, punctuated with showmanship, .Toe Savoldi defeated "Wee" Willie Davis to-night by two falls to one. The contest went to the seventh round. Davis gained ii fall in the fourth round. Savoldi, following a series or drop kicks and flying butts, equalised in the sixth round. In the seventh round Davis came out apparently groggy and lasted only IS seconds. Savoldi drop-kicked him twice and then drove home a body press.
