BUSES TO HOWICK

REQUESTS by residents Complaints regarding the infrequency of the bus service Howick and Cockle Bay were made by a deputation of residents which waited on Mr. E Phelan, licensing authority for the £o. 1 transport district, at Howick on "uesdav afternoon. It was also alleged that the buses were sometimes overcrowded, and that there had been no reduction in fares in upite of the improvements, to the road services. Mr. Phelan promised to investigate the points raised, and asked the operator for a full report.
