OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP The open billiards championship was continued last ovening in the Vulcan parlours, when M. I). White defeated C. Wood. White had the run of the balls and soon established a commanding lead, which he maintained to the finish. His best breaks were 30, 40, SI. HO and 70. Wood's best efforts we'ro 27, 20, 33, 32. The final score was:— White, 500; Wood, 3-48.

The tournament will bo continued this oven ing, when J. Molloy will meet E. W. Warren
