MEASLES IN SAMOA
EUROPEANS AFFLICTED DEATHS AMONG NATIVES [from our own correspondent] APIA, Sept. 17 Another outbreak of measles has occurred in Samoa. It is far more serious than the last, as several deaths have occurred through complications, mostly pneumonia. On the first occasion the outbreak was mostly confined to children, but now many adults, including many Europeans, are suffering. The deaths are all among the natives, who fail to take proper care in convalescence.
