theft from missionary Sentence of three months' imprisonmnent was imposed on Ignatius I'atrick Corrnick, aged 40, labourer, in the Police Court vesterdav by the Magistrate, Mr. F. K. Hunt, for the theft of two books, valued at 10s the property °f Arthur Kingi. Sub-lnspector-'Fox said the books were taken from the Salvation Army home 'n Lome Street, where accused was sharing a room with a missionary. On R charge of failing to comply with a probation order, accused was convicted and discharged. On n charge of obscen; exposure in Queen Street, Ronald Theodore Clarke salesman. aged 27 (Mr. Bryce Hart), yas remanded until Friday. Bail was fi xed at £SO. An electrician, Ernest Albert Edward J »«, aged 26, charged witii fraudulently emitting to pay 13s 94 to J. J- Craig, Limited, on April 28, was remanded for * week.
