WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP RESULTS IN SEMI-FINALS LONDON, Oct. 1 In the fifth round of the English women's golf championship, at £layling, Hampshire, Miss Holmes beat Miss Stobart, 2 and 1; Miss Wade beat Miss Fishwiek, 2 and 1; Miss Gourlay beat Lady Eddis, 4 and 3; Miss -Morgan beat Miss Newell, 4 and 2. In the semi-finals, Miss Morgan beat Miss Gourlay, one up; Miss Wade beat Miss Holmes, two up.
