DEATH LURKED IN GUN
Declaring that the case showed the danger of carelessly handling a gun, an English coroner recently returned a verdict of " Accidental death " on a man who was shot while trying to take a miniature rillo to pieces. Ho was William Rowland, aged 61. of Green ford, Middlesex. James Bailey, of Clncton, told the coroner that lie found the rifle, which ho had not seen for several years, in a shed, and, after cleaning it, called to Rowland to help him to unscrew it. Rowland held it with the barrel pointing to his body while Bailey tried to unscrew the stock. The rifle wont off. He did not know that it was loaded.
