SUNDAY SCHOOL AWARDS

PRESENTATION OF PRIZES The annual distribution of prizes won by Sunday School scholars in the examinations conducted by the Auckland Presbytery took place at St. David's Church Hall last night. A large attendance of children and parents was presided over by the moderator, Mr. H. B. Burnett. The principal speaker was Miss Elizabeth Allan, one of the ordained youth workers of the church. A varied t entertainment was contributed to by children front the successful schools. An effective dramatisation was presented by the Balmoral Sunday School, and solos, recitations and choruses came from pupils of St. Paul's Dcvonport, Mangere, Scots Hall, St. David's, Onchunga and Meadowbank schools. The moderator presented prizes and medals.
