THE AUCKLAND EXCHANGE MARKET AGAIN QUIET Trading conditions wore again very quiet m the investment market 011 the Auckland Stork Exchange yesterday, liuyiii'i support was scattered and only a small number of transactions was put through. Hanks were dull., A rise in buyers' limits for New Zealauds led to an unaltered transfer at 08s 6d. The rise in National Insurance was continued, a parcel changing hands at ISs lOd, a gain of Id. In the ioan and agency group, both Farmers' Auctioneering ( [j preference) and Newton King (preference) sokl at Jate rates. Traders' Finance, 7s 6d paid, dropped back lhl to ss. G. .T. Coles (rights) were dealt in for die tirst time at 31s, at which more were available. Woo! worths (N.Z.') gained 6d it? a transaction at £5 :3s 6d. Wilsons Cement maintained late rates. Broken Hill Proprietary were firmer at the close, but Electrolytic Zinc (preference) and DunlopPerdriau were easier.
