In order to be fresh lor his three farewell concerts in Auckland, the artist, who will, conclude his South Island tour in Christchurch on Wednesday, will on Thursday fly direct to Palmerston North to board the express there and arrive here on. the day before the concerts boy in, Mr. Crooks is essentially an outdoor man. He "s Oft. Jin. high and has not allowed his singing to interfere with his physical development nor his exhilarating outdoor mental make-up. The box plans for tho Auckland season will open on Monday, and, although the preferential applications are heavy, particularly from tho country, ami from centres as far distant as Gisborne, lS T ew Plymouth and Wanganui, good seats are available in all reserved sections., Jt is definitely announced that under noj circumstances can the season be extended beyond the three concerts here, as Mr. Crooks must leave by tlio ||.
