NEW CLUB AEROPLANE

CANTERBURY PURCHASE Complete satisfaction with the newJubilee Monospar aeroplane recently purchased by the Canterbury Aero Club was expressed by the club's chief instructor, Mr. J. J. Busch, who has returned after testing the machine in Australia. Ho found that it was easy to fly and very comfortable, and there was so little noise in the cabin that radio programmes could bo heard while flying. He said lie was able to support the maker's claim that the machine could be handled with one engine cut out. A very small landing space was required. The machine would arrive in about a fortnight. Mr. Busch said the standard of club flying in New Zealand was higher than in Australia. There were highly trained pilots in the Dominion, but better facilities were needed.
