INCREASE IN BIRTHS
WHANGAREI POPULATION [from our own correspondent] WHANGAREI, Friday For the first nine # inonths of this year, an increase of 112 has occurred in the population of Whangarei. There were 259 births and 117 deaths. The figures for September are as follows, the totals for the corresponding period Inst year being in parentheses:— Births, 31 (26); deaths, 16 (.19^; marriages, 9 (11).
