WHITE BUTTERFLIES

CONCERN AT WHANGAREI [from our own correspondent] WHANGAREI, Thursday Notwithstanding the severe weather of the past week, white butterflies are to be seen in large numbers in Whangarei and surroundinc districts. It would appear as if the pest will be particularly severe this year, although measures were taken last year to control the butterflies. Gardeners are concerned at the large numbers already seen.
