POST OFFICE CHANGES

STAFF PROMOTIONS Several changes in the |taffing of the Auckland post and telegraph district have been made recently.- Mr. JGeary, postmaster at Renuicra, commenced his retiring leave yesterday, and his successor, Mr. C. W. Williams, of Maunganui, will take charge in about three weeks. The postmaster at Wellesley Street East. Mr.'T. M. Crawford, has been promoted to To Kuiti, and his place will bo filled by Mr. B. C. Galbraith, of Kaikohe, who is due in about days. Mr. 1?. E. Williams, postmaster at Otahuhu, has been promoted to Morrinsville, and will bo replaced by Mr* F. Auld, of Kaikohe. Mr. M. F. < P. l . ear 7' postmaster at Newmarket, will D 0 transferred on promotion to \> aitai. next week, but his successor has not yet been appointed.
