Mr. R. A. Singer returned from "Wellington by train yesterday morning. Mr. P. Turner was a passenger fros? the South by train yesterday morning. The Hon. C. J. Carrington, M.L.Charmed from the South by train yesterday morning. Mr. Justice Johnston left by the limited express last evening for Wellington. He will return to Auckland early next week. Mr. H. H. Watkins, engineersecretary of the Auckland and Suburban Drainage Board, returner! yesterday from a business visit to Wellington. .-,vThe Rev. W. J. Elliott, of Devonport, will leave by the limited express this evening for the Wairarapa, where he is to conduct the anniversary and jubilee services of two Methodist churches. Mr. L. "Warren, formerly of the Auckland office of the Union Steam Ship Company, left Wellington on Tuesday by the Maunganui for Rarotonga, 'where he is t<J be manager. Ho is accompanied by Mfs„ "Warren. Dr. 0. L. Eaton, medical, missionary designate of the Presbyterian Church, will arrive in Auckland on Tuesday and leave on Thursday en route to Canton. Orr. Tuesday evening bo will be dedicated at a farewell service in St. David's Church.
