MESSAGE TO IL DUCE
FAMOUS ITALIAN POET SCORN FOR GENEVA (Received September 30, 11.5 p.m.) Times Cablo LONDON, Sept. 30 The Rome correspondent of the Times says the newspapers publish a lyrical message which Gabriclle d'Annunzio has sent to Signor Mussolini, whom he describes as "unconquerable and always equal to his destiny." Then the poet says: "0, comrade, do not sully yourself by turning toward the stinking sewer of Geneva. Stand firm, repressing your calm hilarity." He concludes by saying: "Loaded with years and solitude, I wish to die for the new-old Italy."
