INJURED IN EXPLOSION
MISHAP WITH DETONATOR GOLDMINER IN HOSPITAL [my telegraph OWN coeresfondent] WAIHI, Wednesday When a detonator exploded while he was fitting it to a fuse in the underground workings of the Martha mine yesterday, Mr. Tasman McNamara, single, had part of his left thumb blown off. The injured man, who lives in Roberts Street, was attended by Dr. A. Jenkins and was admitted to the Waihi Hospital.'
