Sept. 23 A Eoyal Australian Air Force machine crashed into the Hawkeßbury River, in the vicinity of Richmond aerodrome, to-day. Two occupants, Pilot Officers W, Allshorn and G. Quinan, sank with the machine, but in spite of minor injuries and severe shock they were able to extricate themselves and rose to the surface. They were rescued by local farmers.
