ACCIDENT TO AIRMAN

MR. GUY MENZIES' INJURY MYSTERY STILL UNSOLVED LONDON, Sept. 22 Mystery still surrounds the accident which was responsible for the injury to the Australian airman Flight-Lieu-tenant Guy Menzies, who some years ago flew the Tasman Sea to New Zealand solo. Ho was found unconscious on the ground outside his sleeping quarters in an Air Force barracks last month. Although it was stated that an inquiry would be held a few days later, nothing has been heard of the matter since. All the Air Ministry will say is: "The whole matter is held up, presumably because Mr. Menzies is not well enough to give evidence. We have not had a report yet from the Air Force station."
