TENNIS CLUB EVENING
There was an exceptionally large attendance at the five hundred card evening organised by the Taupiri Tennis Club and held in the Taupiri hall on Saturday night. The prize winners were: —Ladies, Mrs. A. V. Wright (Tuakau), 1; Mrs. S. J. Wilson, 2; men, Mr. Peck. 1; Mr. G. Cunningham (Huntly), 2. The ladies present were Mesdames F. J. Farrell, L. Powell, 10. Tremain. A. J. Gibb, N. Jackways, W. C. Davies, Hilton (Huntly), It. H. Fransham, Luke (Huntly), R. Baucke, G. Harwood, R, E. Hunter, Shaw (Huntly), N. Wilson, Partis (Huntly), S. J. Wilson, A. V. Wright (Tuakau), E. Burman, T. Pawson (Huntly), T. B. McDowall, J D. Bruce, J. Douglas (.Huntly), A. Vincent, J. Thorne, J. Dodds (Huntlv), Menzies (Huntly), H. McMullan, T. Hall, E. Smith, T. Swarbrick, M. McNamara, Misses D. Jackways, A. Wilson, E. Partridge (Huntly), and M. Hill.
