The unloading of the vessel commenced at S a.m. on Monday with all non-union men, because no members of the Waterside Workers' Union were available. After a second call was made at 10 a.m. with a similar result the non-unionists who stopped working on Monday were re-engaged, with the exception of the four men objected to and who refrained from offering for engagement.
