CONTEST IN AUSTRALIA SYDNEY, Sept. 15 At the Sydmy Stadium last evening Fred Henneberry (13st. 41b.) retained the middleweight title, when he knocked out the American negro Toximy Jones (lOst. 111b.), in the ninth round.
Jones was severely handicapped by an injured hand from the second round onward.

The Austral an lierht-heavy-weight boxing champion, Ami rose Palmer, has received an offer from Nev Zealand for a series of contests. Palmer nays that although the offer Is not tempting le may give it consideration after he has linished playing football.
