It is now possible to travel from the Atlantic to the Pacific, or from the north to the south, over paved roailg that are n delight to the motorist. The secondary roads are usually first-class in every respect, and this enables the motor-car and its adjoining vehicle to traverse either flat or mouhtainotin thoroughfares. •Tin Can" Organisation The San Francisco Chronicle of Aug. ust 16 had a story to the effect that Mr Josef Sigall, living in a £4OOO trailer, had returned to Saratoga to find that his mansion had been burned down 3 few monnhs ago. There was no way of reaching Mr. Sigall with the news, tocause his movements could not be checked. It was surprising to most people to read that one trailer could cost £40(10.

The American people are not long in finding a name for a popular innovation. At Sanduskfe Ohio, the "Tin Can Tourists of tie World" recently held their summer reunion. Mr. Munn serra American delicacies to his friends in the remote fastnesses of France uA Czechoslovakia.
