HAMILTON SOCIETY ATTRACTIVE EXHIBITS THAMES GROWER'S SUCCESS [from our own correspondent] HAMILTON, Tuesday The style adopted for the arrangement of exhibits at the Hamilton Horticultural Society's spring show, which was opened in the Alexandra Hall today, was most attractive, making a magnificent display. Daffodils comprised the main exhibits and included many choice specimens. There was a large attendance at the opening ceremony, which was performed by the Mayor, Mr. J. It. Fow.

The well-known Thames grower, Mr. W. Danby, won the champion of champions award with a daffodil of the trumpet variety named Tapin. Other special awards wore as follows: Auckland Provincial Amateur Cup.— W. Danby, Thames. Hamilton Daffodil Cup.—W. Danby. Champion Trumpet.—W. Danby, Tapin.: Champion lucomparabilis.—H. M.
