LABOUR GOVERNMENTS
Sir, —The Hon. Mr. Eraser, in speaking in support of Mr. Osborne, asked the electors of Manukan to vote Labour because it would help the Labour Party in England back to power., Now, the Labour Party in England brought that country to the very brink of ruin, from which it was saved only by the action of the late King. A ruined England is a. ruined New Zealand. If there is'one thing more than anything else needed by New Zealand it is a safe and sound Government, in England to give us markets and defence, under the shelter of which we may, if we must be foolish, carry on with our political experiments.
