McKenzie is joining the staff of the High Commissioner in London, wrote our London correspondent on 'August 26. She travelled to England with Mr. and Mrs. Jordan, and she expects to remain there indefinitely.

The September meeting of the Mount 'Albert Women's Christian Temperance Union was held at the home of Mrs. Turner, Mount Albert. Delegates were appointed to the forthcoming convention. As it was "franchise day," Major Annie Gordon gave an address on the importance of using the vote and urged her hearers not to be apathetic about the issues involved.
