PURCHASER OFFERS 5/COMMITTEE TO DELIBERATE [from our own correspondent] SYDNEY, Sept. 10 A farmer has offered the Kingaroy Shire Council, Queensland, 5s for . a mountain battery gun and carriage : ii / which the Australians captured from • the Turks, and which he intends .to convert into a farm implement. After vthe Avar the gun was presented, to the -V School of Arts committee, which has requested the council to remove tha gun, now in a bad state of repair. ; , The committee stated that the returned soldiers did no' want the war relio and were not interested in how-it wadisposed of.
