CRASH ON TO ROCKS

MOTOR-CAR OVER BANK [BY TELEGRAFH —OWN CORRESPONDENT] WHANGAREI, Sunday A motor-car struck a telegraph polo in Onerahi Road last night, and then plunged over an embankment to the rocks, 12ft. below, on the shore of the Whangarei Harbour. The four occupants had a lucky escape from injury, as the car was wrecked. Fortunately the tide was out at tho time. The vehicle was owned by Mr. K. Sirl, of Whangarei.
