GORDON BENNETT RACE
POLAND'S THIRD VICTORY BALLOON COVERS 1250 MILES €~- - WARSAW, Sept. 11 Ppland has won the Gordon Bennett balloon race for the third time in succession. The result was announced when word was received of the landing of the Polish balloon Lopp near the White Sea iri the north of Eussia, 1250 miles from the starting place at Warsaw. - The pilots were compelled to travel 62 miles over roadless country before they were able to send word of their descent.
