PRESENTATION PARTY

A. very enjoyable party was organised recently by Mesdames B. and C. I Fletcher for Miss Isabel Wightman, | who is to be married shortly. The guests met at "The Homestead," Waimaukti, the residence of Mrs. Wightman, sen., there being a representative gathering of friends. A five hunj dred tournament was won by Mrs. I Walker and Mr. A. Copeland, consolaj tion prizes going to Mrs. L. Wightman j and Mr. Mason. Winners of ping pong I we're Mrs. Houghton and Mrs. K. Smith. Competition prizewinners were j Mrs. 0. Wintour and Miss N. Walker. \n presenting the guests of honour with a dinner waggon, Mr. C. Fletcher spoke of the help Miss Wightman had given to the sports club and other activities with which she and her fiancee had been associated. After supper charades and games concluded the evening.
