CONTROL OF RAGWORT
SODIUM-CHLORATE PRICE' LOWER RATES SUGGESTED [by telegraph OWN correspondent] TE KUITI, Saturday When interviewing the Waitomo County Council at a special meeting recently tbo Director-General of Agriculture, Mr. A. H. Cockayne, said the department hoped to make sodiumchlorate available at a lower rate and suggested tho council should take over the distribution. The council decided yesterday to cooperate if the price could be made clieaper. The chairman said it should give the gang system of the eradication of ragwort a trial.
