Special trains are pouring into Nuremberg carrying the advance guard of hundreds of thousands of prospective participants in a week of speeches, parades and demonstrations in connection with the annual Nazi rally. Tanks, bombing aeroplanes, 50,000 members of the compulsory labour service, 60,000 Storm Troops, 40,000 Black Guards and 40,000 members of the Hitler Youth organisation, of both sexes, will parade before HenHitler. A Nazi manifesto will be read, the contents of which have not been disclosed, but Jews are apprehensive.

Nuremberg, or Nurnberg, is Germany's most famous medieval city and has preserved its ancient character to a remarkable degree. Outside the old walls, however, Nuremberg has grown tremendously in modern times and is a leading commercial city. Many old and picturesque buildings are to be seen in the city, including the Kaiserburg, a former royal residence, which dates partly from the lltb century.
