EVIDENCE ON PETITIONS

The taking of evidence on petitions presented to the House of Representatives with respect to the operation of chain stores in New Zealand will he commenced by the Industries and Commerce Committee of tho House next Wednesday. Authority has been given for the proceedings to be open to the press.
