A CONCERT PARTY
A- concert party, arranged by Mrs. F. Webster, visited His Majesty's prison at Mount Eden on Thursday, when humorous sketches, songs, elocutionary items and duets were given. Those taking part were: Miss Gladys Barton, Mrs. Preston-Thomas, Mrs. Hobday. Mrs. Mervvn Rattray, Miss Mary Pilkington, Mr. Arthur Turner, Mr. Mervvn Rattray, Mr. Edgar Middleton, Mr. Tom Culley and Mr. Dick Sharp. Mrs. T. W. Lighton acted as accompanist.
