SPILT INK CLUB

Two poems—"Short Stories," and "Unsung," were read by Mrs. Doust; Mrs. Una Craig read two of her Compositions, also poems, "Sylvan Ryme" and "The Telegram"; Mrs. Hurst read an interesting article on Auckland's Fairy Springs: Mrs. Fisher's contribution was a snort story "Tho Golden Sovereign"; Miss It. M. Hoggard. (honorary secretary) read a short story—"Going Back," and Mrs. Colgrave read an article on "Women in Politics." Numerous topics wero discussed, and general comment followed the reading of members' work. Afternoon tea was served by the hostess, Mrs. M. Saunders, St. Goorges Bay Road, Parnell.
