CROWD AT WRESTLING
FIRE BOARD COMPLAINT PASSAGE-WAYS OBSTRUCTED A case of overcrowding at the Town Hall on Juno 6, during a wrestling match conducted by tho Auckland Wrestling Association, was tho subject of a report by an inspecting officer, which was forwarded to tho City Council by the superintendent of the Auckland Metropolitan Fire Board. Ho requested that proceedings should bo instituted against the association, and that a prosecution should be pressed for At a mooting of the council last night the town clerk, Mr. J. S. Briglmm, reported that as requested by the Legal and By-laws Committee, tiio Hon. B. Martin, M.L.C., and Mr. W. T. Anderton. M.l*., mot a representative of tho Auckland Wrestling Association in regard to tho complaint. Tho superintendent of tho Fire Board and his inspecting officer were also present. After tho matter had been fully discussed he was instructed by the subcommittee to advise the Wrestling Association that had been received of people obstructing the passageways, and that this must cease, and that tho association must take steps to have the matter rectified, the town clerk added.
