PROFESSOR W. CULLIS
A BRILLIANT CAREER A distinguished visitor to the South Australian centenary celebrations will bo Professor Winifred Cullis, who is expected to reach Australia in September. Professor Cullis, who was created C.B.E. in 1929, has had a distinguished career. She is M.A. of Cambridge and D.Sc. of London, and is at present Sophia Jex-Blake Professor of Physiology in the University of London. She was president of the International Federation of University Women from 1929 to 19.32, and is chairman of the education committee of the EnglishSpeaking Union. Professor Cullis takes a great deal of interest in films, and is a member of the advisory council of the British Film Institute, and chairman of the Educational Panel. She is also a, member of the council of the National Institute of Industrial Psychology, and a member of the Adult Education Committee of the 8.8.C. Dr. Cullis is a director of Time and Tide, the magazine founded by Lady Rhondda. Her recreations are golf and reading.
