Savoury Snaps
Take /'jor. butter, one teaspoon • chutney, one half teaspoon anchovy j essence or paste, one half teaspoon I lemon juice, and a good pinch of j cayenne. Knead well together and : thoroughly mix ulith hoilcd, well \ mashed cauliflower. Take as many j stale rolls as you need, cut off the i tops to lids and scoop out the j insides. fry them all over in butter j till golden and put aside to drain and : dry. Fill these little cases with the » above mixture, put on the lids, place I in the oi'en a few minutes so that : they are hot all through, and serve j at once. Eaten cold they are very tasty. :
