"OLD TIME" AND JAZZ
ROSS AND GLENDINING A bright dance was held at the Peter Pan last night by the firm of Ross and Glendining, the first of a series which should prove very popular. The tastes of all dancing enthusiasts were catered for, both "old-time" and jazz being included 011 the programme, and a large number of employees and departmental heads and their friends spent a happy evening. The ladies on the committee were:— Miss E. McHugh, who wore a frock of tree-bark brown georgette; and Miss Ada Drew, who was in wine embossed georgette. Others who were present were: —Mrs. H. Glendining, in cream braided souple satin; Mrs. A. Spalding, cherry panne velvet; Mrs. J. Hammond, spindleberry blistered crepe; Mrs. G. Dennis, electric blue souple satin; Mrs. R. Cox, beige crinkle crepe; Mrs. B. Sinythe, navy blue goldthreaded crepe; Mrs. A. McNamara, cameo pink taffetas; Mrs. P. Todd, black ring velvet; and Mrs. L. Miller, wine Chantillv lace.
