LEAGUE OF MOTHERS

Henderson. —The Henderson branch of the League of Mothers met oil Wednesday. Mrs. Harvey presided. A continuation of her talk on Portugal was given by Mrs. Pollock. Tho election of officers resulted Mrs. Harvey, president; vice-president, Mrs. Pethvbridge; secretary, Mrs. A. Osborne; reporting secretary, Mrs. Lowe. Tea was served by Mrs. A. Osborno and Mrs. Brown. Sandringham.—Officers elected at the annual meeting were:—President, Mrs. A. Wright; secretary, Mrs. W. Utting; treasurer, Mrs. E. Rich; vice-presi-dents, Mesdames Bark, Hay, Lord, J. E. Wilson; committee, Mesdames Ashby, Chester, Crump, Dick, Lloyd. Mille. Markwick and Sominerviile, jun Mangere East. —The branch met recently in the Methodist Church hall, the president, Mrs. C. S. McCallum, presiding. Tho speaker was Mrs. J. T. F. Mitchell. The hostesses for the afternoon were Trs Pheasant and Miss Dickinson
