VICTORIA LEAGUE

PARTY AT KNOX HOME The Victoria League Ever Ready Committee gave a party to the patients of the Knox Home. An enjoyable musical programme was provided. Songs were given by Mrs. Hobday, Mrs. Humpnrey Gordon, Miss Phyllis Renner and Miss Ray King; pianoforte solos by Mrs. Reginald Reed, and dances by Miss Betty Spiro; community singing under the leadership of Mr. Vernon Drew added greatly to the pleasure of the patients. Books and magazines were distributed and tea brought a happy afternoon to an end. Among those present were: —Mrs. J. B. Macfarlane (chairman), Mrs. L. S. Rickerby, Mrs. F. Charlton, Mrs. Thomson, Mrs. P. Chambers, Mrs. N. Wallace, Mrs. Mathias, Mrs. P. Maguire, Mrs. A. Green, Mrs. Gifford, Mrs. Cleal, Mrs. Runciman, Mrs. R. Mackay, Mrs. W. Worrall, Misses Keesing {2), Lorie, Walker, Teape. Mrs. Barrington Snow and Mrs. Reginald Reed acted as accompanists.
