WHANGAREI CLUB EVENTS [from our own correspondent] WHANGAREI. Friday The Whangarei Homing Pigeon Club has just completed thrco races, two being from Alercer and the third from Frankton Junction. Results: — From Alercer, for yearlings, send three, clock two.—Air F. Redmond's Lazy Pete and Billy Boy. MOSyds a minute, 1; Air. W. Griffiths' Phileinup and Aussie, 1107 yds, '2; Air. T. Sketchley's Rttfus and Negro, 1105 yds, 3. Interval Race, from Alercer, for yearling.— Air. W. Griffiths' Gay Blonde, 1109 yds a minute, 1; Air. D. Wilson's Blue Streak, 1070 yds, 2; Air F Redmond's Peter Pan, 1070 yds, 3. Old Birds' Race, from Frankton Junction.— Mr. W. Griffiths' Marsh J.ad, 1035 yds a minute, I: Air. E. Gilbey's Tiger, 103-lyds, 2; Mr. D. Wilson's Rosy Morn, 1030 yds, 3.
