KING COUNTRY SUCCESS [by telegraph OWN correspondent] TAUMARUNUI, Friday The King Country ladies' hockey representatives defeated Taranaki to-day by 2 goals to 1. For tho winners Mrs. Lauler and Miss Chaney scored, and Miss Hutchins for the visitors. The gamo was fast and spectacular. There was a very large attendance.
