OSTEND BEATS SURFDALE [from onu own correspondknt] WAIHEKE, Sunday Foolbali and basketball matches worn played yesterday between the Surfdale and Ostend schools' teams. A silver cup, presented by the Herbert Smith Trust Fund, has in previous years been held by Surfdale. The cup was won yesterday by the Ostend school for the first time. Tho Rugby match was won by Ostend by points to 18, while the basketball result was:—Surfdale, 19; Ostend 16.
