The team is regarded as strong in all departments and includes new men who are expected to. bo thoroughly tested in New Zealand. ASSOCIATION GAME CHATHAM CUP MATCH NORTH ISLAND FINALISTS The feature match on' the Auckland Football Association's programme for tc-morrow will be the North Island final of the Chatham Cup competition between the Waterside team, of Wellington, and Thistle, of Auckland. The winners will meet the successful South Island team in the Dominion final to be played at Wellington on August 29. To-morrow's contest will start at 2.30 p.m., and it wilfbe preceded by a fifth grade curtain-raiser. Large interest will centre in the Chatham Cup game. Both clubs will be fielding strong teams and there is every prospect of a sterling struggle. Providing the ground conditions are conducive, the Waterside team is expected to give a thoroughly scientific display. Thistle is also capable of fine football and its strength should match that of the Wellington team, both in the forwards and - the backs. , . Two games in the first division championship will also be played. Mount Albert Grammar Old Boys should be fully extended by Comrades at Fowltls' Park, while another even game should be witnessed at Western Springs, where Metro-College will meet Ponsonby.
